The mission of this traditional summer school (poster) is to provide one-week intensive courses on active research topics in probability and statistics, lectured by leading scholars in the field. The school is targeted primarily for doctoral students in probability, statistics, and related areas. Advanced MSc students and fresh postdocs are also encouraged to apply.

- Ivan Nourdin (U Luxembourg): The Malliavin-Stein approach (abstract, exercises, slides)
- Dylan Possamaï (Columbia U): An introduction to backward SDEs and applications in finance and economics (abstract)
- Piotr Zwiernik (U Pompeu Fabra): Latent tree models (abstract,exercises,slides)
Venue
Lammi Biological Station (map) is located by Lake Pääjärvi in the village of Lammi, district of Kanta-Häme, 120 km to the north of Helsinki. The nearest towns are Hämeenlinna (about 45 km) and Lahti (about 40 km), from which there are frequent bus connections (www.matkahuolto.fi/en/) to Lammi.

You can register by filling in the registration form. The participation fee (20 €) is to be paid on location in cash.
